No proposal to stop police verification for passports


New Delhi, Dec 10 (IANS): There is no proposal to discontinue police verification for issuing of passports by making submission of Aadhar Cards mandatory, parliament was told Wednesday.

This was stated by Minister of State for External Affairs Gen (Retd) V. K. Singh in the Lok Sabha in answer to a query.
