New Delhi, Dec 11 (IANS): Russia is India's foremost partner in defence, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi here Thursday.

Russia is most important defence partner and "we have conducted joint military drill of the three wings in the last six months", said Modi after holding the annual summit talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
