'Ghar Wapsi' not religious conversion: Yogi Adityanath


Patna, Dec 13 (IANS): Bharatiya Janata Party MP Yogi Adityanath said here Saturday that 'Ghar Wapsi' (returning home) is not religious conversion adding that the event will be organised across the country.

"We will organise Ghar Wapsi across the country," Adityanath, the BJP MP from Gorakhpur, told media here.

He said the Ghar Wapsi campaign will not be confined to Uttar Pradesh.

"Ghar wapsi is a homecoming not religious conversion," he said.

He arrived here to attend a party function in Vaishali district.

Adityanath said that those opposing Ghar Wapsi are against Hinduvta. "We are receiving tremendous support and response from people for Ghar Wapsi," he said.
