New Delhi, Dec 14 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday pledged "wholehearted commitment" towards energy conservation on National Energy Conservation Day.

"On National Energy Conservation Day we pledge our wholehearted commitment towards energy conservation in our daily lives," he said in a tweet.

The day is celebrated to aware people about the importance of energy efficiency.
