Soldier injured in explosion in Kashmir


Jammu, Dec 14 (IANS): A soldier was injured Sunday when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

Military sources told IANS that the incident took place at Nangi Tekri area of Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch district.

"The area where the explosion occurred has been surrounded for a search operation. The injured soldier had been taken to a hospital," an officer said.
