Modi congratulates Japanese PM on poll win


New Delhi, Dec 15 (IANS): Prime Minster Narendra Modi Monday congratulated his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe on his electoral victory.

"Congratulations to Shinzo Abe on his victory in the elections. Japan will scale newer heights of progress under his leadership," Modi said in a statement.

"I look forward to continuing to work closely with Shinzo Abe to strengthen the relations between India and Japan," he added.
