New Delhi, Dec 17 (IANS): It was a chilly and foggy morning here Wednesday.
"The sky will remain clear through the day... light fog may return in the evening," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
According to the Met Office, the visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 500 metres and the humidity was recorded at 97 percent.
The minimum temperature in the morning settled a notch above the season's average at 9.2 degrees Celsius.
The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 20 degrees Celsius.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled three notches below the season's average at 19 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled a notch above the season's average at 9 degrees Celsius.
