Case registered in Peshawar school attack


Islamabad, Dec 17 (IANS): A case was registered Wednesday in connection with the militant attack on the Army Public School in Pakistan's Peshawar city.

At least 148 people, including 132 school children, were killed Tuesday when militants of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan stormed the school.

Police have registered a FIR in the counter-terrorism department of the police station, Geo TV reported. The FIR included the sections pertaining to terrorism, murder and attempted murder.

The report further stated that a team has been formed to investigate the incident.
