Intensify membership drive in Delhi: Shah

New Delhi, Dec 18 (IANS): BJP president Amit Shah Thursday told leaders of the party's Delhi unit to step up the membership drive ahead of assembly elections here.

According to sources in the Bharatiya Janata Party, Shah instructed the leaders to "cover all corners of the city" and induct as many new members as possible.

"He (Shah) has asked us to project Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) as the face of the party in Delhi. Huge banners and posters of Modi will soon come up all over Delhi," said a leader who was at the meeting.

The posters will carry Modi's vision for the capital.
