Sydney, Dec 22 (IANS): Family members and partner of Sydney siege victim Tori Johnson plan his funeral to be a "positive reflection" of his life. Johnson's funeral will be held Tuesday.
Johnson's family and his partner of 14 years, Thomas Zinn, have planned Tuesday to celebrate the 34-year-old's life, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Johnson was among the three killed during the hostage crisis Dec 15 at Lindt Chocolat Cafe at Martin Place in Sydney.
Man Haron Monis took 17 people hostage.
Friends and family of the Lindt Chocolat Cafe manager will attend the funeral at St. Stephen's Uniting Church in Macquarie Street, only footsteps away from where he was killed.
The Johnson family expressed their gratitude at the extraordinary outpouring of public support since Tori's death. They also offered condolences to the family of the other siege victim barrister Katrina Dawson.
Zinn, a Sydney hotel manager, and Johnson's parents Ken and Rowena, and his younger brother James, who returned home from Canada have told friends that they wanted the funeral to be a "positive reflection" of Johnson's life.
