Mangalore, Dec 6: Hindustani Classical Vocal Concert organized by Sangeet Bharati Foundation (R) Mangalore will be held in Town Hall on Sunday December 10 at 9 am.
Speaking at the press conference here on Wednesday December 6, secretary of Sangeet Bharati Radhakrishna Rao said that the concert has been sponsored by Corporation Bank. India’s living legend and doyen of Hindustani classical vocal music Begum Parveen Sultana from Mumbai will perform at the concert.
Rao added that Sultana will be accompanied on harmonium by Pandit Vasanth Kanakapur of Dharwad and on tabla by Rajendra N of Bangalore. Treasurer Anantha Sathya Sanjeev, trustee Venkatesh Baliga, joint secretary Narendra L Nayak were present at the conference.
