Puttur, Dec 7: A student studying in a Pre-university college here died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday December 5.
Prateek T J, son of Janardhan T A of Madikeri was a science branch student at Vivekananda pre-university college here. He was residing in a rented house here and was going to the college. He had been to his house at Madikeri for family fest.
On the same night he suffered a mild heart attack. He was immediately admitted to a hospital at Madikeri. But he breathed his last in the hospital later in the night.
Holiday was declared to Vivekananda College on Wednesday following the sudden demise of Prateek.
