Two more terrorists to be hanged in Pakistan


Islamabad, Dec 26 (IANS): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Pakistan Friday set Jan 14 as the date for the execution of two terrorists in district jail Faisalabad, The Nation reported.

The Faisalabad jail superintendent submitted an application before ATC Lahore, that terrorist Faiz Ahmad had killed Lance Naik Tariq Mehmood in 2000 at Nankana Sahib and Muhammad Sharif was involved in several terror related incidents at Nankana Sahib.

The ATC rejected the appeals filed by the terrorists against their death sentences.

The court issued death warrants of both the terrorists. Ahmad and Sharif will be hanged Jan 14 after the morning prayers.
