Jaitley dismisses reports of use of naval chopper by family

New Delhi, Dec 27 (PTI): Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today dismissed media reports that his wife and daughter used a naval helicopter in Goa on December 23.

Media reports had claimed that Jaitley's wife and daughter were flown by a naval helicopter, made available at the instance of Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, from Dambolin Airport resort to Cancona in south Goa.

In his Facebook post headlined "Perils of Falsehood", Jaitley said, "The news item is entirely false on three counts: Firstly, it was my wife and son (not my daughter) who were in Goa on December 23.

"Secondly, they did not use any governmental facility, least of all a naval helicopter. Thirdly, Manohar Parrikar, the Defence Minister, had not sanctioned the use of any Defence helicopter for them. In fact, since it was purely a private visit, Manohar Parrikar was not even aware of the fact that they were in Goa."

The Minister said that no activist has a right to "invent falsehood" and then publicise it over the social media and demanded the media organisations tender an apology and express regret over the same."

Similar incidents will occur very often in future. When noticed, they would say, 'Not Party's view', or 'Not intentional'.
NO.1 FEKU PARTY. Development is missing, only Dividing India going on. We regret our life's biggest blunder.

Ramesh dear, the power is gone into the hands of wrong people. Illiterate, semiliterates, criminals, extremists, fundamentalists are governing India. This is not a government but foolishly religion spreading agency. Development......gaya baad mein. Wait for 6 months and see the economy of India. All the best Feku Bhakts.

He is one of the richest politician of India! I read somewhere that he has more than Rs 120 crore wealth. Educated at St. Stephens college, then law college, might have made the money through law practice. I was expecting him to open the mouth to tell the whole world, whether he was forced to covert or not while studying at the St. Stephens college in New Delhi.

He may have his own helicopter and private plane to fly around. As a very smart Finance Minister, cutting corners everywhere at first in the Department of Health, 20% reduction. His greatest problem now faced with is to find the right naval ship to bring back the black money. India is shining!
