Muscat, Dec 10: With Christmas around the corner, the Mangalorean Catholic Centre of the Parish, MCCP (Sts Peter and Paul Church - Ruwi) has planned to organize an entertaining Christmas party for its members' children on Thursday, December 14 2006 from 7.30 pm onwards in main hall of the church in Ruwi.

This year's Christmas party will have a variety of programmes for the children.  Vinita Crasta, Shalet Noronha and Ivan Moras, the coordinators of the event, have planned an event with a difference for Mangalorean Children and they say - "Children are our boosters and at this Christmas time, we want to give them a gift of the best entertainment and excitement. We have already made arrangements to thrill them with magic shows, mimicry, clowns, games and much more - there will be Santa with Christmas gifts. It will be three hours of enjoyment with loads of fun and Christmas thrills."

The major sponsor of the event is Areej Vegetable Oils & Derivatives SAOG (Minara). "Minara" is the premier brand of pure sunflower oil in the Middle East. Oman Telecommunications Company – Omantel is the main sponsor for the whole year's events and programmes.
