Mangalore, Dec 12: "Konkani Bazar" sponsored by Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy will be inaugurated on Saturday December 16 morning at Carmel Hill, Bikarnakatta here.
Konkani Bazar will be inaugurated by former Udupi MP Vinay Kumar Sorake. Fr Patrick Lobo, superior of Carmel Monastery at Bikarnakatta will be the guest of honour on the occasion. Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy president Eric Ozario will preside over the inaugural function. Konkani Bazar will be held upto Sunday December 24 and will be open from 10 am to 8 pm everyday.
Konkani Bazar is a novel market for Konkani books, music albums and other Konkani-related items. There will be special reduction too on certain items. Christmas cards and 'kuswar' (Christmas delicacies) will be special attraction at Konkani Bazar.
