Udupi, Dec 12: Shri Sugunendra Teertha Sripada of Puttige Math performed 'bale mahoorta', a preparation before the third 'paryaya' on Monday December 11.
Speaking on the occasion he said that his aim is to have a 'Clean Udupi, a special place dedicate to Lord Krishna." He also said that he would seek help from World Bank in this mission.
Huge number of devotees who were present on the occasion were also addressed by K K Pai. In his address he said that he has a lot of respect toward Puttige Swamiji for his unflinching spirit in spreading the philosophy of Madhwacharya to the entire world.
Former president of Karnataka Sahitya Parishat Harikrishna Punaroor was also present on the occasion. Religious rites were performed by Vedamurthy Kukkikatte Sridhar Tantri and Kenja Sridhar Tantri.
