Koteeswaran new Indian Overseas Bank MD


Chennai, Jan 2 (IANS): R. Koteeswaran has taken charge as managing director and chief executive officer of the government-owned Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), it was announced Friday.

In a statement issued here, the bank said Koteeswaran, who was earlier an executive director at the Bank of India (BoI), has taken charge Dec 31.

Starting his career in 1976 in Bank of Baroda, he worked there in several positions till August 2013 when he joined the BoI.
