Beltangady, Dec 13: A twenty-eight-year-old young man was killed in a when a speeding lorry rammed into his rickshaw at Kashibettu on Ujire-Beltangady road here on Wednesday December 13 morning.
The deceased has been identified as Gregory Moras (28), son of Louis Moras of Mura near Navoor here. One Yathish Kumar who was travelling in the same goods rickshaw has sustained serious injuries.
Gregory was on his way back home after supplying milk to the city when a lorry coming from the opposite direction rammed into his rickshaw. The accident was so gruesome that Gregory died on the spot with serious injuries on his face and head.
The Beltangady police have registered a case in this regard.
