Exploded Pakistani boat was carrying liquor: report

NEW DELHI, Jan 4: A suspected Pakistani boat claimed by India’s ruling party to be on a suspicious mission exploded in the Arabian Sea following a chase, but the Indian Express reported on Friday that the boat seemed to be on routine trip when it was intercepted.

“Less than 48 hours after the Coast Guard destroyed a vessel it claimed was ferrying explosives and terrorists from Pakistan into Indian waters, new evidence has begun to emerge that the victims of the operation might have been small-time liquor and diesel smugglers, transporting bootleg cargo from the port of Gwadar to other fishing boats,” the Express said, citing unnamed sources.

According to the report, the fishing boat did not have an engine capable of outrunning Indian interceptors.

Pakistan’s foreign ministry was unclear whether the incident had happened at all.

In a press release, the Indian Ministry of Defence said, “A fishing boat from Keti Bunder near Karachi was planning some illicit transaction in Arabian Sea.”

Meanwhile, other Indian reports said Pakistan-based terrorist groups are trying to infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir by taking advantage of the cross-border firing.

this is another incident when the Navy and the news channels sensationalise news without waiting for facts. When the truth is revealed after few days all those who make false statements will have their foot in their mouth. Unnecessary invectives against Pakistan and absurd comments to sensationalise the issue were made. When will proper sense prevail among our media personnel?

ABG fast interceptor crafts are a series of high-speed interceptor boats designed and supplied by Global Marine Design and assembled by ABG Shipyard, Surat for the Indian Coast Guard @ Rs. 26.5 Cr., capable of doing high speed up to 45 knots and fitted with a 12.7 mm ‘Prahari’ Heavy Machine Gun (HMG).
I wonder why such a sophisticated boat took over 1 hour to intercept a small single engine fishing trawler. Is this the quality of defense under FEKU Maharaja …

yes ur right.but the strategy deployed by pak here is deflecting the movement of coastguard and sneaking to gujrat coast while making indian coastguard engage with thier other boat.

they made one boat intentionally to be recognised by the coast guard and when coastguard is intercepting the boat another boat will change the direction from high seas to gujrat coast.but thier ploy failed this time.

paks intention is to make usa pres obama cancel the visit to india on republic day by creating spectacular terror incident in india.

that is the reason there is 24/7 border shelling and firing going on in kasmir border by pak army to infiltrate terrorists into india by giving cover to them by thier shelling.

but indian army is doubly and aggressivly responding to them and this has left pak army and isi desperate.

even the 10 terrorists who came and attacked mumbai on 26/11 wore orange threads.this is the ploy of pakis to show to the world that attackers were hindus.

as all were suicide attackers and in the end, therefore will all will die ,they thought that thier plan will be successfuly uted.

but infinite thanks to great son of india policeman tukaram omble. he caught one terrorist kasab alive who also wore orange thread sacrificing his own life.
later geo tv of pakistan also interviewed kasabs family in pak confirming that kasab and 10 others were paki.

this cunning ploy by pakis have been exposed by tukaram omble and we nationalistic indians are indebted to him for exposing the cunning plan of pakis

..what ever it may be, we can't take chances if anything suspicious activities coming from pak..we dont want another 26/11..if it happens then same media will attack coast guard/Navy saying they once again failed..we are fortunate that AJMAL KASAB caught alive otherwise pakis & our own traiotors whould have said it is carried out by RSS..even if boat was carrying liquor & if it is illegal, then what coast guard was did is in national interest..prevention is better than cure..by the way, INDIAN EXPRESS says it might be liquor boat But TOI says telephone intercepts proved that boat occupants was in constant touch with pak military..

Boat may be carrying illicit liquor to Gujarat. Because in Gujarat there was lot of demand for liquor to celebrate new year and the illicit liquor smuggled from Maharashtra & M.P was not sufficient to meet the huge demand. Hence, Indian illicit liquor sellers must have ordered the same from their counterpart in Pak.

First they said boat carrying terrorists with arms and explosives, now they are saying smugglers carrying illicit liquor But in reality, its a mock drill carried by feku gang from the Gujarat coast in order to get applause from the people.
If you read the book written by Aziz Burney about 26/11 attacks you will know the truth
