Mangalore, Dec 15: The two-day state-level inter-ESCOMS sports meet organised by Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (MESCOM) was inaugurated at Mangala Stadium here on Friday December 15.
The meet was inaugurated by MAHE former vice-chancellor Dr B M Hegde. MESCOM managing director S Sumanath was the chief guest while sports committee president M Narayana presided.
A total of 15 events for men and three for women will be held during the course of the meet. ESCOMS from Bangalore, Hubli, Mysore, Gulbarga, and KPTCL are taking part.
MESCOM director (technical) S Sridhar, financial adviser B M Chandrasekhar, KPTCL superintendent engineer Adishesha, KPTCL worker’s association vice-president K Shasheendra, KPTCL sports officer G S Anandakrishna were present.
