Panaji, Dec 15: It is for the first time that a Children's Theatre Festival is being organized in the state.


Konkani one-act play 'Gauri'

Hundreds of students who are learning the art of Theatre in various branches of Bal Bhavan across the state participated in this unique festival and presented their hidden talents through one-act Play performances. The Festival was held at 5 different venues in the state.


Marathi one-act play 'Jaaducha Shankh'

The Festival was inaugurated by the State Bal Bhavan chairperson Vijaya Devi Rane in the Kala Academy in the capital city. The other venues were cultural city of Goa..Margao, Curchorem, Ponda and Mapusa.


Konkani one-act play 'Sar Pude Motubhay'

On the ocassion Children from Panaji Bal Bhavan Kendra presented a Konkanione-act play 'Sangeet Saubhadra', Marcel Bal Bhavan Kendra presented Konkani play 'Gauri', Khandepar Bal Bhavan Kendra presented Konkani play 'Fude sar Motubhay' and Sanquelim Bal Bhavan Kendra presented Marathi one-act play 'Jaaducha Shankh'.

The festival was organized by Bal Bhavan in association with The Information and Publicity department, Govt of Goa.
