Mangalore, Dec 16: A two-day workshop on ‘Basic Surgical Skills and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) in Otorhinolarynglogy – Head and Neck’ was inaugurated at the seminar hall of K S Hegde Medical Academy here on Friday December 16.
The workshop was inaugurated by Nitte Education Trust president Vinay Hegde. Speaking on the occasion, he said that a sum of Rs 35 crore will be released for upgrading infrastructure, research and study facilities at the Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital.
Madras ENT Research Foundation (MERF), Chennai director Padmashree Dr Mohan Kameshwaran presented a seminar on cochlear implants on the occasion.
Among those present were ENT department head Prof Satish Bhandary, vice-dean Dr Karanth and Dr Ranjit Peter.
