Mangalore Dec 17: Pilikula is set to organie aromatic flower show in herbariumits nursery from Satuarday December 23 to Tuesday January 2.
Pilikula Nisargadhama Society executive director J R Lobo speaking to the press persons at Nisargadhama premises on Saturday said that more theen 12,000 orchids and flower plants of about 40 species would be displayed during the 10-day flower show.
Apart from rare and beautiful orchids hundreds of plants which is wide spread in Western Ghats will be displayed during the show.
Lobo said that these plants will develop the centre as a place of botanical research in collaboration with Mangalore University. The event is held as part of Karavali Utsav to be organized near Mangala Stadium in the Mangalore from Thursday
December 21 and Pilikula Nisargadhama will be having a separate stall for flower show in Karavali Utsav.
