Nasscom's second start-up warehouse to open in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jan 8 (IANS): As part of efforts to reach out to the maximum number of young businesses, Nasscom's 10,000 start-ups programme Thursday inked a partnership with the West Bengal government to open its second warehouse in Kolkata.

A memorandum of understanding was formalised in the presence of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, government officials, Nasscom delegates, global CEOs and industrialists at the Bengal Global Business Summit here.

Financially supported by the Bengal government, the warehouse will be managed by the 10,000 start-ups programme.

10,000 start-ups senior director Rajat Tandon said the warehouse would be located in the satellite township of Salt Lake and on a 10,000 square feet space provided by the government.

Bengaluru now houses the only 10,000 start-ups warehouse.
