Mumbai, Dec 18: The muhurat of the Konkani comedy play ‘Kaun Jikta…?’ was held on Sunday December 17. The play has been written by well-known Konkani playwright Henry D’Silva Suratkal. Sunny A D’Souza handed over the copies of the play to the artistes.
Well-known theatre artiste William Machado of Nirmal Sadan lit the lamp. Businessman Silvan Menezes, Poinnari Konkani weekly former assistant editor Felix A D’Souza, actors Edwin Barnes, Flora D’Souza, Gregory Sequeira, Olivia Albuquerque, other artistes Robert Tellis, Rita Albuquerque, musicians Charles D’Cunha, Frank D’Souza, Peter Pais and others were present.
The play being directed by Sunny A D’Souza, will be staged for the eighth time on public demand, on February 3, 2007 in the Bhayander (W) church premises.
