Paris magazine attack: Shots fired in suspects' hunt

London, Jan 9 (IANS): A number of shots were reportedly fired in Paris as police chased a car in which gunmen, who killed 12 people at the office of French satirical magazine “Charlie Hebdo”, were on board, BBC reported Friday.

Police sources reported the shooting and chase nearly 48 hours after the attack on the magazine's office.

Cherif Kouachi, 32, and his brother Said, 34, are suspected of gunning down 12 people at the magazine's office Wednesday killing, among others, a cartoonist whose caricature of Prophet Mohammed had ignited a huge row.
