Seven militants killed in Pakistan


Islamabad, Jan 9 (IANS): At least seven militants were killed Friday in a blast in Pakistan's Khyber Agency tribal region.

The blast occurred in Tirah valley, Dawn online reported.

According to sources, the militants who were killed belonged to Lashkar-e-Islam group.

The explosion was followed by mortar shelling by security forces from a nearby camp, the sources added.
