Mangalore, December 18: Suddha, the first digital Tulu film was screened on Monday, December 18, under the auspices of the Department of Journalism St Aloysius College, in the Xavier Auditorium of the College here.
The screening is an attempt by the Department to support the upcoming talent in the domestic film-making arena.
The film is directed by P N Ramachandra. It throws light on the plight of the so-called land owners who are now reduced to being titular landlords post-land ceilings act.
Sai Krishna and Sujata, actors in the movie, Fr Richard Rego, Head of the Department, Department of Journalism and Suman Mendonca were present on the occasion.
