Sri Lankan foreign minister to visit India Sunday


New Delhi, Jan 13 (IANS): Newly-appointed Sri Lankan External Affairs Minister Mangala Samaraweera will visit India Sunday on an invite from his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj.

Swaraj spoke to Samaraweera late Monday and congratulated him and invited him to visit India which was followed by a written invitation.

This will be Samaraweera's first overseas visit as foreign minister for discussions with Swaraj.
