Mangalore, Dec 22: Akhila Karnataka State-level Chutuku Sahitya Samelena will be organised on account of Kasargod Gadinada Utsav by Kasargod Zilla Chutuku Sahitya Parishad Karavali Sanskrithika Pratistana from Monday December 25 to Tuesday December 26 at Kasargod Lalitakala Sadana.

Anandashrama Nityananda Jnana Mandira Belguam priest Vijayananda Swamiji will inaugurate the programme while Kannada Sahitya Parishad Bangalore secretary Chutukuratna Jaraganahalli Shivashankar will preside over the function. Chutuku Sahitya Parishad Kendra samithi chief convener Dr M G r Aras will release a souvenir on the occasion.

Kasargod Zilla Chutuku Sahitya Parishad president Shivaram Kasargod speaking at the press conference here on Friday December 22 said that the best Chutuku Krithi (Short story) will be given the Best Chutuku Bhoosana award with a gift cheque of rupees 2000.

Shivaram said that 50 short stories have been selected to be entitled for the award.

Kasargod Zilla Chutuku Sahitya Parishad vice president B Balakrishna Aggitaya, secretary Venkatesh Patil M R Barikkadu and general secretary S N Bharadwaj Bekal were present at the press conference.
