Two guerrillas killed in Kashmir gunfight

Srinagar, Jan 15 (IANS): Two separatist guerrillas were killed Thursday in a gunfight which is still going on between the militants and the security forces in Kashmir's Shopian district.

Police said security forces surrounded a group of heavily armed guerrillas in Keller forest area of the district Thursday morning.

"The militants fired at the security forces, triggering an encounter that is still going on. Two militants have been killed so far...," a senior police officer said here.
