Mangalore, Dec 24: ‘Chitra Koota,’ a three-day camp for children in painting, sketching and clay modeling was inaugurated on Sunday, Dec 24.

Around 75 children from various schools gathered in the premises of Swami Sadananda Saraswati Vidyalaya, Nantoor.

The children who brought their drawings and paintings were engaged in discussion on their work.


Over 20 resource persons will conduct sessions for the children wherein tips on bettering their skill and on being creative in art.

Jeevan Mullakad, the art teacher of the school was present on the occasion along with the convenor of the school R D Shastri. Resource persons included artist Gopadkar, K P Shenoy, Ganesh Somayaji, Skanda and others.
