Abu Dhabi - Dec. 25: Christmas was celebrated in Abu Dhabi at St. Joseph's Cathedral with solemnity in the presence of thousands of devotees.
The midnight celebration began with Carol singing by the Church's combined Choir, followed by the penetenial rights and Holy Mass.
H.E. Bishop Paul Hinder of Vicariate of Arabia concelebrated the Mass along with the resident priests of the Abu Dhabi Parish.
The Holy Mass was projected in various locations for the benefit of the devotees inside the church premises.
The area of jam packed with people of various nationalities.
The disciplined crowd and the combined church choir enhanced the solemnity of the occasion.
The fantastic crib installed by Frank Alvares - a Mangalorean, was an added attraction and was praiseworthy, with its unique presentation.
