Udupi, Dec 25: Four eminent personalities have been chosen to receive the New-Year Award 2007, instituted by the Rotary Club, Academy of General Education, Manipal and Syndicate Bank, Manipal here.
Lokayukata Justice N Santosh Hegde, Prof N R Shetty, president of the Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi, P Dayananda Pai, managing director of the Century Building Industries Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, and general secretary of AICC Margaret Alva will receive the award.
The award will be presented at a programme to be held at Hotel Valley View International, Manipal here on Monday January 1 at 5.30 pm.
