Woman sues AirAsia as hostess falls on her

Jan 18 (Agencies) : A lady from Melbourne has decided to sue Air Asiaafter an air-hostess lost her balance due to turbulence and fell on top of her, injuring her foot.

36-year-old Erin Crocker was travelling aboard AirAsia on her return from a family vacation in Thailand when due to severe turbulence she fell on the floor. The flight attendant fell on her right foot, Yahoo reported.

Erin suffered multiple joint fractures, ligament tear and a deep vein thrombosis resulting in multiple surgeries. She was forced to take time off from work.

She is now seeking damages and has reportedly rejected a settlement offer.

However, Erin was generous given the Air Asia QZ8501 tragedy where she almost abandoned the case believing that she was taking money away from the victims.

But, she has now changed her mind, said her lawyer Nancy Yonan and Erin now wishes to fight on.

The airline's QZ8501, from Indonesia's Surabaya to Singapore, crashed into the sea, killing all 162 passengers.
