Kolkata, Dec 27: Jagmohan Dalmiya on Wednesday tendered his resignation as the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president, thus bringing to an end his 14-year tenure at this office.
In a 150-worded letter, Dalmiya quit as the CAB president as he did not want to drag the state association into his legal tirade with the powers that be at the BCCI.
''I have taken this decision after thinking a lot and keeping the best interest of the state association in mind,'' Dalmiya told UNI.
