Mangalore, Dec 28: On the occasion of the 22nd annual day of Xavier Industrial Training Centre, Assaigoli, Konaje held on Wednesday Dec 27, the new administrative block, hostel, stage, play ground and motor mechanic wing of the institute were inaugurated.
The administrative block was inaugurated by Mangalore MLC Blasius M D'Souza who was also the chief guest at the programme.
Coffee planter Joyce Saldanha, chairman of the Xavier Educational Trust J J V Fernandes and others were also present on the occasion.
The institute is now 22 years old and functions in its campus of 4.2 acres in Assaigoli, Konaje and offers 5 ITI courses in the trades of electrician, electronic mechanic, mechanic refrigeration and air-condition, diesel mechanic and welder trade.
