Public functions in parks banned in Ghaziabad


Ghaziabad, Jan 22 (IANS): The Ghaziabad municipal corporation Thursday banned organising of public functions in 22 parks that have been developed below high tension power lines.

The fire safety department, in its survey, found 22 parks under such category and issued certain guidelines for public safety following which the corporation has banned public functions in these parks, said municipal commissioner R.K. Singh here.

I has been maintaining Gulmohar Park for the last 16 years with trees, bushes, hedge, flowers etc. I would like to have c opy of order banning public functions in Parks to maintain them for public comfort and eco-friendly
