Mangalore, Dec 29:
Kannada and Sanskriti department Bangalore, in association with Dakshinna Kannada District Kannada Sahitya Parishad Mangalore, Tulu Koota Mangalore, Agoli Manjana Janapada Kendra Pavenje will organise 'Bayana,' children's Tulu literary meet on Sunday December 31 at 10 am at Siridhompa, Pavenje here.
 
Dakshina Kannada district Kannada Sahitya Parishad president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura speaking at the press meet here on Friday December 29 said that the programme will be organised on account of Agoli Manjana Janapada Kendra decennial celebration. Various cultural programmes will be organised on the occasion like story writing, poetry writing, folk dance competitions, poets meet, and seminars.
 
Kalkura further said that several high schools have been sent invitations out of which 20 schools will send 100 representatives for the programme. Anvitha Rai, a student of Victoria Girls High school, Lady Hill will preside over the programme.
 
Alva's Education Foundation Moodbidri president Dr M Mohan Alva will inaugurate the function while the chief guests of the programme will be Mulky M L A Abhayachandra Jain, Vidhana Parishad member Capt Ganesh Karnik, former Kannada Sahitya parishad State president Harikrishna Punaroor, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Kannada Sahitya Parishad president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, St Aloysius PU College principal Prof John Edward D'Silva, Bunts Sangh Union president Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi, state Tulu Sahitya Academy president M K Seetaram Kulal, Namma T V administrative director Dr Shiva Sharan Shetty and Yugapurusha Kinnigoli Bhavanabhiram Udupa.
 
Tulu Koota Kudla president Damodar Nisarga, Agoli Manjanna Janapada Kendra honorary president Chandreshaker Nanil and Agoli Manjanna Janapada Kendra president Dr Ganesh Amin Sankamar were present at the press meet.
