Mangalore, Dec 30: In two separate road accidents that occurred this week, two persons died.
In a fatal road mishap which occurred on the National Highway 17 near NITK College, Suratkal, Gopalkrishna was hit by a motorcycle. He succumbed to injuries in the hospital. It is said that the injured did not respond to any medication.
In another episode of reckless driving, an auto rickshaw driver Ravi (35) of Shivnagar was injured when his vehicle turned turtle near Nooyi Addur in Mangalore taluk.
He was admitted to the Government Hospital in Mangalore where he succumbed to injuries on the same day.
