Mangalore, Dec 30:
Tulu play directed by Naveen D Padil 'Anchilath Enchilath' will celebrate its completion of 100 shows at a programme to be organised on Wednesday January 3 at 5.30 pm at Town Hall here.
 
Artist Naveen Shetty speaking at the press meet here on Saturday December 30 said that 'Anchilath Enchilath' had its 100th show in Kasargod.
 
The play 'Porludaye?' directed by Naveen D Padil will also celebrate its hundredth show after its screened in Town Hall on Wednesday January 3 and both Tulu plays will be played in Town Hall. All the audience will be distributed sweets on this occasion, he said.
 
Vajradeha Kshetra Uppugoodu, Gurupura priest Rajashakerananda will bless the occasion. Bunts Sangh union president Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi will inaugurate the programme.
 
Renowned Yakshagana artist Kumble Sunder Rao, Udayani paper chief bureau Manohar Prasad, Karnataka Tulu Sathya Academy president M K Seetaram Kulal, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy president Eric Ozario, Kendra Beary Sahitya Parishad president M B Abdul Rehman, Dr Asha Jyothi Rai of Chirayu Ayurvedic clinic Bikernakatte, Vijaya Kirana managing director Prakash Pandeshwar, Lakumi troupe Mumbai convener Prakash M Shetty, Barke Friends Mangalore representative Yejnesh Barke and Mangalore Paint Dealers Association president Jagannath Bhandary will be the chief guests on the occasion.
 
Artists Kishore D Shetty, Shobha Shetty, Dinesh Attavar, Vasant V Amin, Rajesh, Naveen, movie artist Anand Bolar were present at the press meet.
