Mangalore, Dec 30: A fire that broke out on the Kadri Hill where the Circuit House, Kadri is situated engulfed one side of the hill on Saturday, Dec 30.
The fire broke out at around 3 pm and the fire fighting force took one hour to extinguish it.
Although there were two houses situated on the hill, no harm to life and property has been reported.
The dry grass that had grown in the region led to the quick spread of the fire. It took around 8 persons of the fire fighting force to accomplish this task.
