Sullia: Dec 31: The dead bodies of a woman and her two children were found in a well in Kemmur Dalit Colony, Ivathoklu in Sullia on December 29.

They have been identified as Kusuma (28) wife of Sundar M, a resident of Kemmar and Yogish (2) and Girish (8 months).

The incident came to light when a neighbour girl went to fetch water in the well and found slippers of Yogish near the well. With suspicion she went to search for him and found the children and her mother missing. Finally she informed the people around the colony and a search was begun.

Their dead bodies were found and were fetched out of the well by the firemen.

It is suspected that the first child Yogish may have fallen into the well while playing, noticing this, the mother with the baby in her arms might have jumped into the well in grief.

It is said that Sunder had gone for work in the morning and his mother and father were not there in the house when this incident occurred.
