Mangalore, Jan 2: The child labourers rehabilitated by city’s Prajna Counselling Centre had a special day at Taj Manjarun with a get-together programme organised by the five-star hotel on Monday January 1.

A host of games and fun-filled activities made sure the children enjoyed themselves. Gifts such as balloons, whistles, masks and other goodies were distributed to each child.

The highlight of the programme was magician Sooraj Shetty who had the children spellbound with his tricks.

Speaking on the occasion, social worker Mohini of Prajna Counselling Centre said that the centre has rehabilitated as many as 630 children till date.

A total of 120 children, all of who have been rehabilitated, participated in the programme and displayed their talents.

Among those present were Prajna Counselling Centre director Prof Hilda Rayappan, Taj Manjarun general manager Ranjit Shankar and manager Nateshan.
