Mumbai, Jan 27: The annual sports meet and sports competitions of BSKB association were held at NKES sports ground, Vadala on Sunday, January 25.
In the inauguration ceremony presided by association president Dr Suresh S Rao, Secretary P C N Rao, office bearers, association members
and International Institute Training center director Vikranth Urwal present on the occasion lighted the traditional lamp and set the
sports meet in motion.



Urwal wished the programe well and said that sports should be an indivisible part of our day to day life. “Those are essential for our
physical and mental health. Sports is not meant to be a competition alone. It appears that sports exists among all living creatures but it
is taken part to identify the talented among humans. Let us make it a part of our routine”, he said.
Dr Suresh Rao felicitated Urwal by presenting a flower bouquet and shawl. Hundreds of members wished well to the sports participants.
Youth wing head Anup Kukkemane and Deepak Shivattaya led the sports meet. Sports competitions were held for children aged three years till
senior citizens above 60 years old, men and women. The games comprised of running race, relay race for men and women, shot put, cricket etc.
The unique race titled office race by women wearing Lungi, Belt, Tie, Hat and men wearing saree, Bindi and Purse were attractive. The
competitors participated with enthusiasm. Treasurer Haridas Bhat compered the programme.
In the programme held in the evening, Vice president Vaman Holla congratulated the winners in the competition and all the participants
in the competitions and hoped that more people may participate in the competitions next year.
