Padubidri, Jan 3: The serial dharna being held in the tempo stand here entered its 12th day on Tuesday.

Malpe's traditional boatmen and women's organizations from Nandikur and Mudarangadi took part in the dharna relay. Four activists of Hindu Yuva Sena, Vasudeva Bhat, Mahesh Kulkarni, Chinmaya Murty and Subhashit Kumar went on a 30-km-long walkathon, setting out from Shri Krishna Math in Udupi,  to Palimar via Padubidri, covering a distance of 35 km.
