Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (VM)

Mangalore, Jan 4: Government Wenlock Hospital here now has a new psychiatric ward which was inaugurated on Jan 3. Built at a cost of Rs 3.5 lac the ward has been sponsored by Lioness District 324-D5.

 

On Wednesday, B Udayashanker Shet, governor, Lions District 324-D5 inaugurated the ward.

Ravish Thunga, head of the department of Psychiatry, Kasturba Medical College, Vinay Hegde, chairman of Nitte Education Trust and J Prabhudev, District Surgeon were present on the occasion.

Patients can avail intensive psychiatric care in the new ward.
