Mangalore, Jan 4: The office set up to prepare for Hindu Samajotsav later this month was inaugurated on Wednesday January 3 here at PVS Circle.
The office was inaugurated by APMC nominated member Ramachandra Mantradi.Gurpur Vajradehi Math pontiff Rajashekarananda Swami blessed the office.
Speaking on the occasion, the pontiff cited terrorism, religious conversions, untouchability and Naxalism as challenges to the Hindu community.
Among those present were RSS leaders Vaman Shenoy and Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat and CAMPCO president S R Rangamurthy.
The Hindu Samajotsav is scheduled to be held on Sunday January 28.
