Beltangady, Jan 5: Sacred Heart College at Madantyar here will celebrate its silver jubilee on Friday January 12 at 10 am at the Late Fr Ligoury D’Souza Open Auditorium, stated a press release.
The programme will be presided over by Mangalore Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza. The chief guests will be union minister of state for labour Oscar Fernandes, MLA Prabhakar Bangera, Mangalore Diocese vicar general Fr Fred V Pereira, Collegiate Education joint director Dr W Linda Christi and Catholic Board of Education secretary Fr Wilson V D’Souza.
The annual day of the college will be held on Thursday January 11 in which the Sacred Heart institution correspondent Fr Valerian Frank will preside. Former Udupi MP Vinay Kumar Sorake will be the chief guest on the occasion, the release stated.
